Summary/Objective: The Door Assembler position requires an individual to assemble pre-hung door units. They must pull and prepare proper materials for each job. This Door Assembler machines and builds high quality pre-hung door units to the exact specifications of our customers requiring a strong focus on safety and attention to details while working in a fast paced environment.
Essential Functions:
- Fabricate doors in accordance to customer requirements and company standards.
- Operate appropriate equipment to machine and manufacture doors according to customer specifications.
- Machine and assemble single and twin interior door unit
- Ability to operate and set up a Northfield door machine.
- Must be able to safely operate pneumatic nail/staple guns, chop saws, routers, table saws, hand tools and other various specialty machinery.
- Ability to determine and pull proper materials needed for each task.
- Maintain a safe working environment, identifying and correcting potential safety concerns and hazards.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions, paying attention to details
- Work on a production line within a team concept
- Ability to produce final product with in the project deadlines.
- Maintain machines and tools on a daily basis.
- Package and secure all door units for delivery.

Summary/Objective: The primary objective of the Architectural Hardware Sales Associate is to sell high-end architectural hardware products to interior designers, architects, general contractors, developers, and homeowners. An integral part of the role is to build relationships with vendors and client, as well as become a trusted high value resource in the building community.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to learn and keep up to date on new products entering the market.
- Greets and assists clients. Help determine best product selection for clients needs.
- Responsible for building and maintaining a relationship with new and existing clients, hardware distributors, and other relevant partners
- Actively collaborate with the sales team, and provide product recommendations aimed at increasing revenue in the hardware business
- Process orders in an accurate and timely manner
- Negotiates vendor terms, pricing and delivery
- Responsible for entire sales cycle, starting with initial quote, placing orders, and arranging for order pick up or delivery
- Arranges for return and credit of defective product
- Assists inside and outside sales associates with questions and orders

Interstate + Lakeland Lumber, a leading building material product provider in Connecticut and New York, is seeking to hire a Controller to join our Accounting and Finance team. This hands-on role requires at least three years of public accounting and supervisory experience. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the accounting department, including supervising staff members and preparing financial documents to assist management with important financial decisions. This role reports to and works closely with the CFO to implement best practice policies and internal controls to ensure the success of accounting and financial reporting endeavors.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for the General Ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, and financial reporting.
- Fully responsible for various GL Accounts entries and daily and monthly reconciliations of accounts receivables, accounts payable, inventory, bank accounts, and other miscellaneous accounts.
- Manage month-end close and generation of financial statements.
- Understand the Sales and Tax Exemption qualifications and prepare Sales and Use Tax Returns for NY, CT, and NJ, together with supporting schedules, and reconcile sales tax returns to General Ledger.
- Create budgets and monitor actual vs. budget.
- Prepare daily Cash and A/R Receipts reports for management.
- Able to learn and understand the payroll process, including monthly payroll GL entries and performing quarter and year-end payroll reconciliation.
- Oversee various insurance-related processes, including general liability and auto insurance.
- Supervise the administration of the company cars and truck fleet, including reviewing all tax filings monthly and quarterly.

Position Summary: As a delivery driver, you will transport building materials from our company yards and warehouse to customers' job sites and residential properties. Duties include pulling materials to build loads, loading materials onto trucks, operating the forklift, securing loads, and safely transporting materials to their final destination while utilizing GPS technology for prompt and safe delivery.
Essential Functions:
Perform vehicle pre-and post-trip inspections
Provide excellent customer service while delivering products
Responsible for inspecting and maintaining vehicles, including regular maintenance, safety, state inspections, and emergency repairs.
Report any accidents or delays to dispatchers or reporting manager
Keep detailed logs of vehicle maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to ensure their trucks remain safe and compliant.

Assist in pulling materials by hand to build and secure loads once onto the truck.
Safely operate forklifts and moffetts to transfer materials onto delivery trucks.
Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
Utilize GPS technology to outline routes while considering weight-limits regulations on roads and tunnels, weather conditions, and traffic.
Responsible for essential vehicle maintenance and following safe work practices, policies, and processes.
Communicate with dispatchers and other logistics personnel while completing their routes, including sharing updates on delivery timelines, route conditions, and logging breaks.
Education, Experience, and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and communicate in English
21 years or older
At least three years of driving experience
Valid CDL Class B license required
Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a DOT medical card required
One year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last five years
Follow all federal and state laws, regulations, and other corresponding regulatory agencies' standards and guidelines.
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
