Door Hardware

New door hardware can help you make repairs or replacements to your existing doors and their frames. The most important thing you will need to do is ascertain how your existing doors are prepped. Most doors come in standard measurements, making it easier than ever to switch out hardware if you have specific preferences, but if your door doesn’t use standard measurements our staff can help you find something that fits. It’s important for your door and its components to function properly to keep your home or business secure. If you are shopping for new door hardware, our hardware store carries top-of-the-line products that look perfect and stand the test of time. Reach out to us today to learn more!

IL TruStile Advantage

1.The IL TruStile Advantage means higher quality doors delivered faster, at more affordable prices. With over a decade of experience, our process has been streamlined to maximize quality and efficiency, saving up to 10%. TruStile pre-hung doors ship ready to install, saving you time and money. With the IL TruStile Advantage, last minute changes can be made, allowing us to rehang the door and save you the time it would take to order a whole new door.

2.The process begins with the extraordinary door slabs created by TruStile. Ordering the slabs, jambs, and hardware separately to our shop allows for faster on-site delivery and less risk of damage during transportation. Coming in a variety of styles and finishes, there is a TruStile door to fit any architectural style. Our custom millwork shop supplies the most popular, in demand door jambs for our region, such as finger joint and poplar jambs, in 3/4 and 5/4 sizes. With our expert craftsman, we can also create any custom size and unique design jamb for your project.

3.TruStile slabs are run through our Norfield door machine, where the hinge side jamb is attached. This machine allows for precise routes to be made for the hinge spaces. Our expert craftsman finalize the hinge spaces by hand and check the depth to ensure every door is hung to specifications. This process allows us to ensure that the hinges are always flush on the door and frame. The Norfield machine then bores into the door so it is ready for architectural hardware, like the luxury products offered by Interstate and Lakeland Lumber, to be installed.

4.The final step of the TruStile process is the assembly on the bench by our craftsmen. Here is where the other jamb and head are attached. Our TruStile experts then cut the stops to length for a perfect fit, and install them. Back and bottom braces are attached to protect the door while it is en-route to the job site. After being assembled the TruStile door is closely inspected by our craftsmen to ensure quality before being sent out. The Time and focus on each step of our process allows us to deliver the highest quality and give our contractors less work on site. Delivering the highest quality pre-hung door is what the IL TruStile Advantage is all about.
